My favorite summer memory was going to New York City in August 2007 with my grandpa. I was sixteen and completely obsessed with NYC, as I still am today. I had gone previously when I was twelve, with my school band to perform at Carnegie Hall, but this was a totally different trip. This time it was just my grandpa and I, whom I was so incredibly honored to accompany. We stayed in a small but fancy hotel, and I had my own room with a huge bed, marble bathroom, and the most stunning furniture. I felt like a princess, and even left the window open as it sprinkled outside, while I sat on the ledge and admired the city. We even got to attend my aunt's film showcase at NYU's Tisch Program, which was beyong amazing and inspiring. The whole trip was a wonderful dream come true that I am truly grateful for, and a memory I will forever cherish.
my favorite summer memory (of this summer thus far) was a couple of weeks ago i visited my bf in upstate ny and one day he took me to a rock quarry that was filled with water. it was gorgeous and so amazing to swim in. you could dive in from the edge and it was at least 15 feet, and there were some amazing spots to go cliff diving! it was intense!
My favorite summer memory is seeing Bob Dylan perform 2 years ago. It was my 18th birthday, It was scorching hot in the arena, others in the audience were complaining about the poor quality of his voice in recent years but he was my hero and he was 10 feet away.
