baby, did you forget to take your meds?

halloween is here. 2 more days till the chaos begins.. well.. actually.. not really.. haha! tomorrow ivey & i already have 3 costume parties to attend to. we made our outfits, & i must say i am pretty happy with the outcome. we have a few finishing touches to do, but overall it's basically done. yesterday we decided to get in the holiday spirit by watching scary movies all day & then driving down to the haunted hay ride in calabasas at night. i usually dont get scared, but this ride was pretty freaky! people popping out left and right.. banging on the sides of the cart.. clown raves.. getting right up in your face.. pretty dramatic.. one guy dressed as hannibal asked if i was single & for my number.. umm.. im guessing thats not part of the ride? haha!

sorry i haven't been updating as much as i usually do. work has been in full gear for the past few weeks. if i'm not writing in the studio, i am working on my clothing line or shooting. i am working on some new designs and accessories for winter.. hopefully i will be able to get it out before christmas time. i have a few clothing brand shoots coming up in the next few weeks, one of the brands is this awesome one from canada that makes all one of a kind leather jackets, corsets, pants, etc. etc. it's so much more fun working for a company when you actually like the product.. i am over advertising for things i don't like.. whats the point? im not going to say i love the line when i dont. i have to be real. in the end it might not be the best decision, but at least i know im being true to myself. no more bullshit. ive grown up & i dont have time for it. companies love to take advantage, especially when you're young. you have to be careful. my new roommate allie moves in today! i can't wait. angelica still lives in the building, but she got a 2 bedroom with her twin sister, so we still get to hang out. i love living in a building with tons of cool people. everyone is nice here, its perfect. last thursday was the hello kitty 35th anniversary event. the overall event was fantastic! royal t did an amazing job turning their space into a hello kitty wonderland.. ivey & i only stayed for about 20 minutes.. i dont do too well in crowds.. i ended up going back a few days later so i could really check out the exhibit. so many good art pieces, i really want to get a painting for my apartment. in a few weeks they are doing a fashion show with tons of designs inspired by hello kitty.. definitely wont be missing that!!

i am almost sold out of everything from the last journal.. i do have a few pieces left though.. i am trying to clear it all, so i am taking offers.. even if its 10$, i just need the space!!! haha!! lately, i have been on a music documentary kick. been watching movies about the stones, dylan, joy division.. etc etc.. i find them so interesting.. just makes me want to live in that era more & more.. music just isn't good anymore.. it will never be how it was back then.. back then music had life.. had meaning.. now? it's all garbage in my opinion.

do you like documentaries? what is your favorite one?

xxoo

i hope you go soon in Berlin, because is an awesome city... it's so huge but everyone think about themselves and don't look the other people or say: 'what this guy can hang out in this way?!?!' everyone have the own style... and anyone say nothing... there are a lot of punk guys in Alexander Platz, where i had the hotel... so fun!!! ;-)
anyway... no, i haven't seen that movie...but i'll watch it!!! promise

do u like the runaways?(they r a band from the 70s/early 80s that joan jett used to be in when she was younger) if u dont know who they r lol i suggestt u check out their music:)
veganxmuffin: 10/29/2009 2:53 PM
The last documentary I watched was Synth Britannia. It talks about some post-punk musicians, synthesizers... I really liked it since I'm a big fan of Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, etc.

Anyway, I have to disagree with you on the part where you say all the music is garbage now. You just have to look for it on the right places, there are 99,9% of chances you're not gonna listen to it on the radio.
