starting to feel rundown.. i can tell i have been pushing myself to the limit & i need to take a day to regroup. today is going to consist of the green machine, veggie noodle soup, lots of sleep & movies in bed. tomorrow is thanksgiving. we were supposed to be having dinner at my dads, but since my brother roscoe is sick we are going to be having the dinner at my moms house. tons of yummy home cooked food & quality time with my family & close friends. 

monday night was petty cash at the key club. the band only plays tom petty & johnny cash covers, so good. after the show we made our way to roosevelt hotel. of course, what isn't a night out without a little drama? if someone is lying, i will call them out. apparently he took me calling him out in front of his coworkers as scamming him.. who knows.. you can never trust club promoters.. especially the ones in hollywood.. all they care about is getting an extra buck & being surrounded by a bunch of bimbos. saturday i am shooting for dolby digital entertainment at the black crows concert. we are doing another promo video. sunday i have a photo shoot. monday i am shooting for the website high valley at the store mister freedom, an awesome vintage store located here in hollywood. i have a busy weekend ahead of me. that why i have to be all rested and in full force. 

when you're starting to feel rundown, what is your favorite remedy to give yourself a little boost?

i know.. i know.. i am probably going to get a lot of shit for this, especially from the true die hard fans out there.. but honestly.. new moon was crap.. i was cracking up for almost half the movie.. i couldn't take anyone seriously.. everyone was shirtless.. the ending was cliche.. i'm really disappointed.. does anyone else share the same thoughts as me? i really enjoyed the first film & was excited to see this one.. it was just nothing like i expected.. and it almost seemed like a joke.. to make matters worse, ivey & i pick the worst day to see a movie.. it was the tree lighting at the grove and completely packed.. they said it was over capacity & we weren't allowed to enter the area until right before our film was about to begin.. the movie was supposed to start at 930.. but didnt until 10.. wow.. 

this weekend has been full of chaotic adventures, underground bars & late starlit nights. friday night. we took the city by storm. it started with me slipping across the marble floor at the roosevelt hotel.. bruised cut up knees & a swollen wrist, we made our way to silver lake to an underground japanese bar where julian, the singer from the strokes, was having his after show celebration. noodle bowls everywhere & live jazz filled the room. the next thing i know i am laying on my neighbor amadeus' couch, sipping a martini & listening to him ramble about his night. it is 4a.m. the lights are getting dim. saturday is here. brunch at the ivy & retail therapy down robertson blvd. new sweaters & dresses for fall.. & the most killer tory burch bag.. i fell in love the second i saw it.. the night approaches.. i have an early evening meeting before jet setting to the valley to meet with friends for dinner. we wine... we dine.. we dance.. ending it all with curb on hbo.. tonight i am going to see my friend perform at the key club. the band is called petty cash, a tom petty/johnny cash cover band. the show starts at 930, so if you live in the area come & check it out. the show is 21+ so bring those i.d. people.. this week i am shooting another promo video for dolby entertainment.. thanks to lily l designs for making me a custom piece for the event. friday we are going wild! ivey is going to be 19 so we are getting glitter gel nails & escaping to disney land for the day.

as the sun goes down & the moon rises high, that is when the chaos begins. true feelings spill on the dance floor, eyes lit up with the florescent lights. all the secrets turn into truth. the truth turns into a lie. its all a broken record. when you think you find a bit of beauty in this town there is always a bit of ugliness hidden in its core. i put my all into everything in my life. my work, my friends, my family. people love to take.. take.. take.. they want to take until you are left with nothing.. use you all up for their satisfaction. spill your feelings onto a platter, no one will know the difference.. you need to guard your heart with armor in this town. chose your words wisely. 

one of my favorite brands at the moment is wild fox. the whole line has a vintage vibe to it & is extremely comfortable. i love all their promo photo shoots they have on their site. it is simple with a rock n roll twist. totally into it. yesterday ivey & i had a meeting with a producer/writer we are working with. the overall meeting went well. next week we hit the studio and finish up some of the pieces we have been working on. tonight is going to be filled with dim lights, surprise parties, hollywood canyons and sparkling eyes. i can never get enough glitter.. i love wearing a sheer glitter under my eyes at night.. its so hard for me to watch the news.. i always try to watch it, i want to know whats going on in the world.. everything is just so evil and negative.. it really freaks me out. the world is such a mess right now.. but yet people are more consumed with the petty drama in their lives..

it's weird to think about all the people i have met during my life. so many people have effected my life in one way or another.. in some ways good.. in other ways bad.. where do they all go? the people i used to be close with & now i don't even know if they live in this city. i guess i am having a case of nostalgia today..  taking a trip down memory lane.. remembering pieces of my past.. different emotions, feelings, adventures.. people i would trust, people i hated, people who made me smile and get through the hard times.. only true friendships stick.. the kind of friendship that even if you dont see each other for a few months, when you do, its exactly the same as it was before. it's rare to find a friend like that. that fact that i even have a few of those truly makes me feel blessed. i know they are here for me. i know they dont judge me. they know the real me. who i was, who i am. 

there are a few people who i have met during my life who made an impression on me. an impression that will last forever.. not something that fades over the years.. a few of these people are still in my life.. others have drifted away & i dont know if i will ever see them again.. today ivey and i have a meeting regarding our writing and what the next few steps are going to be.. tonight we are getting wild.. having a girls night full of dancing and chaos at voyeur.. last night i went to hotel cafe to watch butch walker perform.. he is such a talented musician.. if you haven't heard his music i suggest you check it out.. he really captures you with his lyrics.. tomorrow i have a meeting with this new website that is just starting out and then i am shooting with meghan.. we are going for a smithereens type vibe.. very rough but yet soft.. all the noises echo through my room.. sometimes on the quietest days it still sounds like a circus in here.. sitting under the moon.. late monday night.. looking for shooting stars.. all bundled up.. it was perfection.

what a wild weekend.. everything about it was go go go! it's nice to have a minute to just sit back & regroup. friday i did a photo shoot for the winter line glamour kills is putting out. i really love it. everything is super comfy & soft, just the way i like it! aha! at night a few friends & i adventured out to calabasas for drinks, mexican & music. it was an interesting night to say the least.. saturday was the big hello kitty fashion show! tons of different designers did pieces for the show & all the photos are going to be used for a big book they are putting out. even though certain people want to say i was a "stand it" or "picked last" i was actually booked around the same time everyone else was.. i got booked to walk for toxic vision, and because one of the models dropped out, jessica louise asked if i would wear her piece as well.. i don't see the point in putting someone down.. are you really that insecure? anyways.. the show went great! i loved all the outfits!! i wanted to keep them all!! aha! we did two shows.. one at 7 and one at 830.. i was happy my friends and my mom came out to support.. 

since i was the only model who had two outfits i seriously had about 20 seconds to change.. it was the worst! i have never changed so fast in my life.. this week is full of meetings.. i am also shooting my new accessory line later this week..i want to plan a trip to the big apple soon.. i am in the mood for some real holiday weather.. i want to feel like its actually winter!!! yesterday i saw the movie this is it. i loved it. i know a few people thought it was boring, but i found the whole thing so interesting.. the dancers were so insane he had booked for his show.. everything about it was fantastic.. AND THE OUTFITS.. all his stage outfits were incredible.. 

what is your favorite dish at thanksgiving?

for me, its the stuffing & mashed potatoes.. with a little cranberry sauce.. yum!!!

time seems to be moving a lot faster lately than usual.

ivey & i started working on our accessory line, it's going to be great! i can't wait to get it all up online. trying to find truth in a town full of lies. everyone thinks they know you. everyone thinks they know whats best. i've had to go through so much bullshit in this town. i had to put up with it all. i dont get where people get the idea that they know more about your life than you do.. why not focus on your own life? thats when you get somewhere.. thats when you make a difference.. im not asking for a pity party, so dont get the wrong idea.. i just like to say whats on my mind and if you dont like it then dont read it. living in a cluster is going to make your life more of a mess than it needs to be.. cleaning up and being organized keeps room for an open mind.. this week i am shooting with sophia alvardo on thursday and on friday i am shooting for the new glamour kills line. everything is going good.. keeping busy.. working on different projects.. some more successful than others.. its good to focus on one thing.. i have the habit on focusing on a million.. aha! im in the mood to travel.. i miss london.. the gloomy sky and cold streets.. the small town pubs and friendly faces.. the fashion.. the music.. i miss it all.. sometimes i can picture myself living there.. but it would be hard to be that far from my family.. they mean everything to me..

yesterday ivey & i spent the day shopping for some fall fashion.. long sleeve crop tops, tattered jeans, motor cycle leopard jackets.. a trashey chic look.. it all seems to come together.. our new obsession at the moment is the new alexander wang boots he just put out.. they are amazing.. he is such a great designer.. one of my favorites at the moment.. tomorrow i am shooting with sophia alvarado. we are going for a late seventies look. once i am done shooting i am going to cirque du soleil in santa monica. every show they put on is usually fantastic.. have you ever been? this weekend is going to be full of working on music, winter fashion products & chaos. if there wasn't a little chaos in life, life would be so dull.. excitement & action is what keeps us going.. keeps us alive.. 

today is quiet.. today is peaceful...

"we were all feeling a bit shagged and fagged and fashed, it being a night of no small expenditure"

how is it already november? the pumpkins have been carved & the christmas decor is already starting to go up. i feel like it was yesterday i was doing the countdown into 2009.. where did this year go? time really does fly by.. you really have to enjoy every minute of it. friday night.. was when the chaos began. tons of holiday parties & halloween fun. ivey & i dressed up as droogs from clockwork orange, one of my favorite films. the night started with pre drinks in the hills. photo booth under the stars, tons of yummy finger foods, test tube shots and dancing. from there we made our way to wilshire for another halloween party, only this time it was in an office type building & you could hardly move. the music was loud and everyone was dressed to impress. the night went on.. and on.. one party to the next.. making our way around the dull lit town.. ending up on a bean bag chair at 3a.m. watching the riot at the front gate while eating an omelet from the omelet bar justin had set up for the evening. chaos at its finest. on saturday.. the actual halloween day, i started my night by helping my mom with the trick treat kids in brentwood. ended up at a party off lauren with too much black light. left around one to support my roomie allie at the key club. the night was young, but friday took a lot out of me. sunday was recovery at its finest. malibu brunch on the beach.. bloody marys.. you get the idea.. 

not having a car in la la land is the worst. my car is in the shop and i feel so useless without it. this week i have a few shoots lined up, one is with the lovely sophia & another with my friend will. we are going for a ruff late seventies look. i've started working on designs for my winter line, hopefully i will be able to get everything together in time for christmas. in a few weeks i get to film my next part of the dobly promotion i am doing.. instead of filming at a hotel we are going to be at the black crows concert! should be a fun night. right now ivey is wrapped up like a burrito on my pull out mattress from urban. i am snuggled up on my chair with cinderella by my feet. my apartment smells like burned jiffy pop & it wont go away.. i shouldn't be allowed to have a stove.. i always do something wrong.. even if its something so simple..
